Removal and installation of the hub

Place the rear of the car on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side. Remove cap 8 (fig 4.12) hub, remove cotter pin 9, unscrew nut 6 and remove outer roller bearing. Remove brake drum hub 1 from pin 2.

Install drum hub and outer bearing. Install the washer, tighten the nut and seat the hub on the inner bearing, rotating the drum and tightening the nut to a torque of 2.0–2.5 kgf·m.

Loosen the nut by 180°and tighten by hand so that the slots are aligned with the pin hole, and insert the cotter pin without changing the position of the nut. Install new pin and cap.

Wheel bearing tightening adjustment

Tighten the nut to a torque of 2.0–2.5 kgf·m Loosen the nut by 180°and tighten by hand, install stopper 7, a new cotter pin and cap.
