Removal and installation of a pin

Place the rear of the car on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side. Remove the drum and brake shield. Jack up the suspension arm. Wrap the nut and remove the bolt 5 (rice. 4.10) lower arm mountings. Remove the bolts 7 securing the shock absorber bracket. Mark the position of washers 9 and bushings 6 on brace 8 and remove trunnion 4 from brace.

Install the trunnion in the following order: install the bolts securing the trunnion to the shock absorber and suspension arm, then attach the brace to the trunnion, setting the washers and bushings in the position they occupied before removal.

Install brake shield and drum. Install the wheel and lower the car. Tighten the nuts of the suspension arm and shock absorber bolts.
