Place the vehicle on stands and disconnect the parking brake cable. Unscrew the bolts securing the brace and the suspension arm to the body. Disconnect the brake hoses from the pipelines of the working brake system. Jack up the suspension arms, remove the rear storage shelf, remove the plastic caps, unscrew the nuts, remove the washers and shock absorber pads and lower the suspension to the ground.
On cars manufactured after March 1983, after jacking up the suspension arms, unscrew the bolts securing the braces to the body, as well as the bolts of the hinges of the suspension arms.
To install the suspension, install it under the car so that the suspension arms are located against the holes in the body for the bolts of the pivots of the arms. Install the springs and gaskets and use jacks to compress the springs. Install shock absorbers, compression stroke buffers, washers and tighten nuts. Install plastic caps. Install the suspension arm mounting bolts to the body, remove the jacks and attach the braces.
Attach the brake hoses to the pipelines of the working brake system and attach the parking brake cable. Bleed the brake system. Remove the car from the supports and tighten the nuts of the bolts securing the suspension arms to the body.
