Replacing wheel bearings

Remove oil seal 4 and inner bearing from removed hub. Using a punch, striking alternately at opposite points, knock out the outer races of the bearings. Clean hub. With mandrel 15.015 (pic. 4.13) press in the outer races of the bearings.

NOTE: Do not disassemble the outer ring and inner ring cage.

Apply lithium grease to the bearings. Install the inner bearing, fill the seal space between the lips with grease and install the seal with the sealing lip towards the bearing using mandrel 16.018.
