Set wheels to straight ahead. Place the front of the car on stands. Unscrew and remove the coupling bolt of the flexible coupling connecting the shaft to the drive gear.
Loosen and loosen the nuts of the tie rod ball joints, press the pins out of the steering knuckles using a puller and remove the nuts. Unscrew and remove the bolts securing the steering gear housing to the body and remove the fastening clamps.
Remove the steering gear assembly with rods. Remove tie rod ends with locknuts. Record the number of revolutions when turning off each rod. Remove rubber mounts from steering box.
