Generator device (Electrical equipment / Starting and charging system / Ford Escort 3 1980-1985)

Generators from Bosch, Lucas or Motorola were installed on cars - three-phase alternators. with built-in rectifier unit and electronic voltage regulator (pic. 7.6—7.8). The alternator is driven by a Motorcraft 0165 V-belt. The tension force of the new belt is 40-50 kgf; If the belt is being tensioned without using a torque wrench, allow 10 mm of deflection when pressed with the thumb in the middle of the longest section of the belt.
