The solenoid shut-off valve of this device is controlled by the ignition controller based on signals from sensors for crankshaft speed, vacuum in the intake tract and coolant temperature.
The vacuum sensor is installed on the air filter. The electromagnetic shut-off valve stops the supply of fuel to the engine cylinders when the throttle pedal is released, if the engine temperature is above 35°C. and the crankshaft speed exceeds 1600 rpm. and restores it when the speed drops to 1400 rpm.
When you press the throttle pedal, the fuel supply is also resumed by a limit switch mounted on the pedal. The timer thermostat prevents fuel overflow during start-up and operation of the forced idle device at an engine temperature below 35°C.
