Removal and installation of the Ford carburetor

Remove air filter. Disconnect the hoses for supplying fuel and coolant to the automatic starter and plug them with plugs. Disconnect the electrical wire from the solenoid valve. Disconnect the throttle cable and vacuum tube. Loosen the carburetor mounting nuts, remove the washers. Remove carburetor.

Installing the carburetor is done in reverse order. After installation, adjust the accelerator drive. remove air from the cooling system. adjust idle speed and mixture quality.
