Carburetor cleaning
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and remove the air filter. Clean the outer surfaces of the carburetor. Loosen the seven screws and remove the carburetor cover.
Using a syringe or a clean rag, remove the gasoline from the float chamber. Blow out the float chamber with compressed air, being careful not to direct the air jet at the air channel of the valve or at the outlet of the accelerator pump. Install the gasket, carburetor cover and air filter.
Connect the battery. Check the idling speed of the crankshaft and the CO content in the exhaust gases.
