Steering type - safety. Steering gear type rack and pinion. Steering drive by means of two rods with rubber-metal joints on the side of the steering mechanism and ball joints on the side of the steering knuckles. The steering does not require special maintenance. Every 10,000 km of run, the condition and tightness of the anthers, as well as the amount of play in the ball bearings and fingers, should be checked. Worn or damaged parts must be replaced.

Every 30,000 km, check the oil level in the steering gear housing and top up if necessary.

If oil specifically designed for lubricating the steering gear is not available, SAE 90 oil can be used (0.1 p). pre-draining the remaining old oil from the crankcase

ATTENTION: In order to avoid leakage of the anthers, it is forbidden to pour an excess amount of oil into the steering mechanism.
