Remove the gearbox as described in chapter «Transmission». Uniformly unscrew the six bolts securing the clutch cover to the flywheel and remove the cover assembly with the pressure plate. This releases the driven plate. Thoroughly clean the clutch parts and check the condition and fastening of the damper springs. Check the condition and runout of the working surface of the friction linings, which should not exceed 0.5 mm. Check the condition of the contact plane of the driven disc on the flywheel, the thickness of the driven disc and friction linings, the flatness of the working surface of the pressure plate, as well as the condition of the gearbox input shaft bearing in the crankshaft flange. Install the clutch cover together with the driven plate and center the driven plate using drift 21.052 (pic. 3.3).
Install the driven disc with the damper towards the pressure plate (pic. 3.4).
Tighten the cover bolts diagonally in sequence. Remove trim.
