Mounting front bumpers on cars since 1986

Removal and installation
Vehicles manufactured before the end of 1985
1. Remove grille.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the bumper longitudinal beam and remove the bumper by sliding it forward, while at the same time releasing it from the side mounts. If the side mounting is damaged, turn it by 90°, remove and install a new clip.
3. Remove the decorative side trim from the bumper by unscrewing its fastening tabs. After that, you need to install a new decorative overlay.
4. Remove the fang from the bumper by unscrewing the fastening screw from the bottom of the fang.
5. Remove the bumper cover by compressing the jaws of the mounting clips on the inside of the bumper.
6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
Cars made since 1986
1. Loosen the fastening screws (indicated by arrows) on the front fenders and nuts on the spars.
2. Unscrew the remaining two bumper nuts from the engine compartment.
3. Remove the bumper by pulling it forward.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
