The steering consists of a steering mechanism and a steering gear.
Rack and pinion steering with a steering column shaped and angled for maximum safety for the driver, with a lower steering shaft that includes a universal universal joint. The rack and pinion drive gear is mounted on two bearings.
Steering rods are connected to the rack through ball joints. The outer ball joint of the tie rod end is attached to the steering knuckle. The design of the steering rods allows you to change their length and thus set the amount of convergence of the front wheels. The remaining wheel alignment angles are set during vehicle assembly and are not subject to adjustment during operation.
The steering wheel is mounted on a shaft having a hexagonal cross section.
