Designation of disks of wheels

The designation 4 1/2J x 13 H2 ET 45 is deciphered as follows.

4 1/2	wheel width in inches
J	disc edge height
X	deep disc
13	disc diameter in inches
H2	rim with collar for tubeless tires
ET 45	distance from the landing surface of the disk to its line of symmetry

Wheel bolts

Zinc plated wheel bolts can only be used on stamped steel rims.

Light alloy rims are attached only with chrome-plated wheel bolts, which have a tapered rotating washer. This washer, mounted under the head of the bolt, protects the disc surface when the bolts are tightened.
