Rear side of instrument cluster up to 1985
1 - screws for fastening the tachometer; 2 - contact nuts for connecting the tachometer; 3 - nuts for fastening and connecting temperature and fuel gauges; 4 - speedometer fastening nuts
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Unscrew the two screws securing the upper part of the shield, pull the upper part towards you, at the same time lift the lower part with a screwdriver (to release plastic clips) and pull the shield towards you. The lower plastic clips are located at the bottom of the shield strictly opposite the upper fastening screws (the arrows show the screws securing the instrument cluster panel).
3. Unscrew 5 fixing screws (indicated by arrows) instrument clusters.
4. Remove the instrument panel lower trim.
5. From below, remove the speedometer drive shaft, for which press one side of the retaining ring and remove the shaft.
6. Press out the instrument cluster from the inside, turn it and remove the 2 connectors.
7. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
