1. Remove the ignition distributor cap and clean it using a lint-free cloth.
2. Check the condition of the electrodes inside the cover.
3. If the electrodes are badly burned or corroded, the cover must be replaced.
4. Check the condition and smoothness of movement of the central carbon electrode.
5. Wipe the high voltage wires and the top of the ignition coil.
6. Check the condition and reliability of fastening of the electrical wiring of the ignition system. It is necessary to make sure that the insulation of the wires is not broken, the wires are not pinched, and the connections are reliable and do not have signs of oxidation and corrosion.
