Diesel engines with self-ignition of fuel and intermediate injection into the combustion chamber, four-stroke, four-cylinder, in-line, liquid-cooled, with a camshaft in the cylinder head, mounted transversely. The cylinders are made directly in the engine block and cannot be replaced. During the repair, the cylinders are bored and then honed, after which it is necessary to install oversized pistons. The cylinder head, like the cylinder block, is made of gray cast iron.
