Air removal
The air removal procedure must be carried out in the following cases:
- disconnection of the fuel pipeline;
- airing the fuel circuit of the fuel pump;
- turning off the engine in the absence of fuel in the fuel tank;
- fuel filter replacement.
1. Unscrew the air filter bleed bolt and pump with a hand pump until the fuel that flows out no longer contains air bubbles.
2. Tighten the air filter bleed screw.
3. In case they were replaced (or unscrewed) injection pipelines, loosen the nuts securing them to the injectors, press the accelerator pedal all the way and turn on the starter until fuel begins to pour out from under the loosened pipelines.
4. Screw the fuel lines to the injectors and start the engine.
5. Check all fuel line connections for leaks.
Water removal
1. Close the clutch housing to prevent fuel from entering it.
2. Substitute a suitable vessel under the filter.
3. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the filter and loosen the bleed screw at the top of the filter one turn.
4. Drain water until clean fuel appears.
5. Screw in the drain plug and bleed screw.
