Idle system
1 - fuel intake channel from the float chamber; 2 - idle fuel jet; 3 - idle air jet; 4 - bypass channel; 5 - output channel
When the engine is idling, 70% of the fuel mixture enters through the idle system, and 30% through the main metering system.
Fuel is drawn in through the main fuel passage, passes through the idle jet, and then mixes with air flowing through the air duct in the main jet housing.
Then the working mixture enters through the internal channels of the carburetor to the adjusting screw, which regulates the flow of fuel at idle. This mixture is then mixed with air from the idle bypass duct and finally enters the intake manifold at increased speed through the outlet duct.
