Fuel level sensor

It is possible to remove the fuel tank after the fuel has been completely depleted or if a special evacuation pump is available.
Withdrawal
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. If there is fuel in the tank, pump it out with a special pump.
3. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.
4. Remove the fuel supply and return lines from the fuel tank (the place of removal is shown by an arrow).
5. Disconnect the wire from the fuel level sensor.
6. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the fuel tank (1) and inlet hose (3) (2 - the lower transverse arm of the rear suspension).
7. While holding the fuel tank, unscrew the nuts from the tank holder.
8. Lower the fuel tank until it is possible to disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel pickup tube of the tank and the tie-down straps.
9. Remove the fuel level sensor assembly with the fuel pickup tube using a gas wrench and turning it counterclockwise (see fig. Fuel level sensor).
