Fuel pump — removal and installation

1. Remove ground wire from battery.

2. Clean the fuel hoses and depressurize the fuel system by carefully unscrewing the fuel inlet hose banjo bolt of the temperature regulator.

3. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.



4. Clamp the fuel supply hose with a clamp and remove the clamps and the hose from the pump.



5. Unscrew the fuel supply hose to the system (1) and disconnect the wires from the pump (2).

6. Unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the pump.

7. Install the fuel pump in the reverse order of removal.
