The solenoid valve of the idle system on the carburetor
Weber 2V Carburetor Controls
1 - supply fuel hose; 2 - return fuel hose; 3 - accelerator cable; 4 - connector of the automatic starting device; 5 - solenoid valve
1. Remove the earth wire from the battery and the air filter.
2. Bend the fixing tabs, unscrew the 4 nuts and remove the air filter mounting plate.
3. Disconnect the wires from the idle shutoff valve and the automatic starter.
4. On a 1.4 dm3 engine with manual starter control, remove the control cable from the carburetor.
5. Mark and remove vacuum hoses.
6. Remove the accelerator cable from the control lever.
7. Remove fuel hoses.
8. Unscrew the 4 fastening nuts and remove the carburetor.
9. Close the hole in the intake manifold with a clean cloth.
10. Install the carburetor in the reverse order of removal, then adjust the CO content.
