Withdrawal
1. Set the gear selector to position "R".
2. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
3. Unscrew the lever handle, remove the decorative cover from the center console and the console after unscrewing the self-tapping screws.
4. Remove the lever guide plate.
5. Remove the rod from the lever by squeezing out the plastic eye with a screwdriver.
6. Remove the linkage from the gearbox.
7. Pull the rubber bushing out of the bottom of the body and remove the linkage.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When fixing the rod on the control lever, the annular protrusion should be directed towards the pin.
Examination
1. Set the gear selector to position "R".
2. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
3. The front wheels must be locked, otherwise make adjustments.
Adjustment
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
2. Remove the control cable from the lever on the gearbox.
3. Turn the gear selector shaft on the gearbox until the parking lock engages. Check by turning the wheel.
4. Set the gear selector to position "R". In this position, the holes in the shift shaft lever and control cable end must match. Otherwise, change the cable length.
5. To move the cable, move the rubber boot on the cable and, turning the fork in one direction or the other along the thread, align the holes on the cable and lever.
6. Install retaining clip (1) cable for lever (2), fix it and replace the cover.
7. Lower the car.
Quick release cable adjustment
Adjustment should be made after installing the gearbox or replacing the cable. The cable is attached to an eccentric mounted on the throttle valve axis and informs the gearbox of the throttle valve position.
1. Remove air filter.
2. Press the locking bar of the automatic installation device until the cable is completely loosened, accompanied by a click and an increase in the protrusion of the sheath (A). The automatic setting device is located on top of the cable guide bushing.
3. Turn the eccentric to turn the throttle until it stops, i.e. to maximum throttle mode, and release back. In this case, the automatic transmission cable adjustment device is activated and the protrusion of the cable sheath is set.
4. Adjust cable (3) fuel supply system, for which remove the latch (2), fully depress the accelerator pedal, fully pull out the cable sheath and install the latch in this position (1 - eccentric control cable).
5. Install the air filter.
