1. Fill the interior of the joint with grease, taking into account that a different amount of grease should be applied to each side of the joint.

2. To facilitate installation of the protective cover, lubricate the shaft with a thin layer of grease.



3. Insert the drive shaft with a new circlip into the joint splines until the shaft is secured by the circlip.

4. Pull the protective cover over the hinge and fix it with a clamp on the hinge body.



5. By shifting the flange of the protective cover along the shaft, set the required length of the cover (A) and fix it with a clamp on the shaft.

6. The clamps of the protective cover are first compressed and latched by hand, and then finally tightened with pliers.
