Using a long, strong, thin thread or fishing line, cut off the layer of adhesive between the base of the mirror and the windshield.
If you need to reinstall a removed mirror, clean the mirror base with methanol and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Clean the black trim on the windshield in the same way
Installation
Glue the mirror at a temperature of about 20°C. Remove the protective film from one side of the adhesive pad and attach the adhesive pad to the mirror base.
Warm up the mirror at a temperature of 50-70°C for 30 seconds. Remove the protective film from the other side of the adhesive pad on the mirror base. Align the base of the mirror with the black trim on the windshield and press the mirror against the glass. To ensure a strong connection, keep it pressed for at least 2 minutes.
The interior mirror can be adjusted after 30 minutes.
