Withdrawal
Open the trunk lid and mark the position of the hinges with a pencil. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector and ground bus for the trunk lid central locking motor. Tie a long strong cord to the end of the wires and pull the wires out of the trunk Untie the wires from the cord and leave it in the trunk lid (see fig. 11.48).
Place a clean cloth under the corners of the trunk lid. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a cover of a luggage carrier and remove it.
Installation
Installation is done in sequence. reverse withdrawal. After installing the cover, check that in the closed position the gap along its perimeter and the elements of the car body is the same everywhere. If necessary, adjust the position of the cover, for which loosen the fastening bolts and, moving the cover within the elongated holes of the installation, find the required position.
