Withdrawal. wiper motor
Turn on the wiper motor. then turn it off. when the brushes are in their original position. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
Unscrew the nut and remove the rods from the wiper drive (see fig. 12.60).
Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the wiper motor and remove it from the bracket. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor and remove the motor from the vehicle.
Wiper arms
Remove the wiper blades and arms from the pivot points.
Remove the ground wire from the battery. Move the wiper arms to a position to expose the wiper arm ball joints. Using a lever, remove the wiper rods from the spherical head axle (see fig. 12.61, 12.62).
Remove the rubber bushings from the wiper arms.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Lubricate rubber bushings and pivot points with grease prior to installation.
