Adjustment of the eccentric control cable should be done after installing the gearbox or replacing the cable. The cable is fixed on an eccentric mounted on the throttle valve axis and informs the gearbox of its position.
Remove the air filter.
Press the locking bar of the automatic setting device until the cable is completely loosened, accompanied by a click and an increase in the protrusion of the sheath. The automatic setting device is located on top of the cable guide bush (see fig. 4A.8).
Turning the eccentric, turn the throttle until it stops, those in the maximum throttle mode and release back. In this case, the automatic transmission cable adjustment device is activated and the protrusion of the cable sheath is set.
Remove the cable bracket and adjusting sleeve from the carburetor suspension and move it to the right (see fig. 4A.9).
Depress the accelerator pedal and install the bracket together with the adjusting sleeve. Release the pedal. Depress the accelerator pedal several times and check that the throttle valve opens fully. Re-adjust if necessary.
Install the air filter and connect the negative battery terminal.
