Cylinder head cover

Withdrawal

Remove the ground wire from the battery. Where necessary, remove the air supply system and air filter. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the head cover.

Remove the top timing belt cover.

Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle and from the governor mount. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the carburetor.

Unscrew the mounting bolts, and remove the cylinder head cover together with the gasket.

Installation

Completely clean the cylinder head cover and mating surface on the cylinder head.

Install a new gasket on the cylinder head cover, then install the cover on the head. Tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque, in a diagonal sequence (see fig. 2B.5. 2B.6).





Install the timing belt cover and reconnect the battery.
