Acceleration Lever Cable Adjustment

Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check if the accelerator lever is (1, fig. 2E.52) fuel pump in the extreme position corresponding to the maximum fuel supply.



If this condition is not met, then adjust the length of the accelerator lever cable sheath as follows.

Remove the cable sheath bracket from the bracket and adjust the length of the sheath so that the fuel pump acceleration lever can reach its extreme position.

Install the cable sheath bracket on the bracket.

High idle cable adjustment

Attention. Adjustment is carried out on a hot engine.

Adjust with clamp (7) cable (8) increased idle speed, its tension in such a way that it has a gap of 1-2 mm near the lever for increased idle speed.
