Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Raise the vehicle and unscrew the three nuts securing the front exhaust pipe to the turbocharger flange.

Disconnect the oil return line from the turbocharger from the engine crankcase (unscrew the two flanges, then remove the pipeline up and towards the turbocharger).

Lower the car.

Remove the air supply pipe to the filter and to the turbocharger.

Disconnect the tubing attached to the radiator cap.

Disconnect the crankcase ventilation pipe from the cylinder head cover.

Unscrew the two bolts securing the crankcase ventilation pipe to the intake manifold.

Disconnect the air supply pipe from the turbocharger inlet.

Remove the air supply connector to the intake manifold.

Close the open holes in the turbocharger with plugs.

Disconnect the oil lines connecting the turbocharger to the oil cooler.

Unscrew the bolts and nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the engine cylinder head.

Remove the exhaust and intake manifolds.

Remove the three bolts securing the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold and remove the turbocharger and gasket.

Installation

Attention. During installation, each time you should use new nuts for fastening the turbocharger and exhaust manifold.

Attach the exhaust outlet connector to the turbocharger along with a new gasket. Tighten the fastening nuts to the appropriate torque.

Install a new turbocharger connection gasket on the exhaust manifold flange.

Install the turbocharger on the exhaust manifold and tighten the fastening nuts to the appropriate torque.


Install a new exhaust manifold gasket on the cylinder head.

Connect the oil return line to the turbocharger. Insert the tubing deep into the joint.

Position the turbocharger with exhaust manifold in the engine compartment. Install this assembly relative to the cylinder head, tighten the bolts and nuts without completely tightening them.

Connect the oil return line to the engine.

Tighten the nuts and bolts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head in sequence (in three stages) torque 24 Nm.

Follow the rest of the steps to install the turbocharger in the reverse order of removal. Tighten threaded connections to the required torque.
