Oil pressure check

Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure sensor. Unscrew the oil pressure sensor. In place of the sensor, screw a pressure gauge to measure oil pressure.

Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Read the oil pressure at idle and at 2000 rpm. If the oil pressure does not meet the required values, then it should be checked in turn.

• pump bypass valve
• contamination of the grid of the oil receiver of the oil pump
• fastening and throughput of the oil supply pipeline to the pump
• oil pump wear

Turn off the engine. Disconnect the pressure gauge. Screw in the oil pressure sensor. Connect the electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor.
