If the engine turns over with the starter but does not start, disconnect the high voltage wire from any spark plug and connect it to an additional good spark plug that is securely attached to the engine.
Turn the crankshaft and carefully look at the electrode gap of the additional candle. It should periodically skip bright blue sparks.
If a spark is present, check the condition of the remaining high voltage wires in the same way. Unscrew and check the condition of the spark plugs.
If there is no spark, check the condition of the high voltage wires.
If there is still no spark, check the connection of the electrical connector to the ignition coil. Check battery voltage. Check the ignition coil.
If there is no further spark, have the ignition system repaired at a service station.
