Timing belt cover

Top cover

Unscrew the two screws securing the top cover and remove the cover. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Middle cap

Remove the nut securing the power steering tube support bracket to the strut at the rear of the middle toothed belt cover. Remove the brake booster reservoir upwards from the mounting bracket, and move it to the side.

Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. Remove the top timing belt cover.

Remove the auxiliary drive belt. Unscrew the bolt and remove the water pump pulley.

Unscrew the bolts securing the middle cover (one bolt at the front and two at the back - top and bottom) and remove the cover.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Bottom cover

Remove the crankshaft pulley. Unscrew the three bolts securing the bottom cover and remove it (see fig. 2C.10).

Inner shield

Remove toothed belt, tensioner and camshaft pulleys.

The shield is bolted to the cylinder head with two bolts at the top and two posts at the bottom; unscrew them and remove the shield (see fig. 2С.11).



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
