Checking the rear suspension

Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands.

Check the condition of the protective covers of the constant velocity joints.

Check bearings, suspension bushings and shock absorber mounting for wear.

Check shock absorbers for shock absorber fluid leaks.

Place the car on the ground, and by pressing on the body and abruptly releasing it, check the operation of the shock absorbers. With normally working shock absorbers, the car should swing only once, otherwise it is necessary to check the condition of the shock absorbers on the stand, and replace if necessary.
