Withdrawal
Unscrew the selector lever handle and remove the decorative cover from the center console. Unscrew the screws securing the center console (2 in the back and 4 in the front). Remove the center console by sliding it along the handbrake lever. Using a screwdriver as a lever, remove the selector lever guide plate. Remove the rod from the lever by squeezing out the plastic eye with a screwdriver.
Disconnect the linkage from the lever and gearbox. Unscrew 4 screws and remove the gear selector lever housing.
To remove the lever, remove the bracket and remove the pivot pin of the lever.
To remove the lever from the guide, first remove the spring and unscrew the mounting bolt.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the hinge pin fastening nut so that the lever can move freely.
Quick release cable adjustment
Adjustment should be made after installing the gearbox or replacing the cable. The cable is attached to an eccentric mounted on the throttle valve axis and informs the gearbox of the throttle valve position.
Remove the air filter.
Press the locking bar of the automatic setting device until the cable is completely released, accompanied by a click and an increase in the protrusion of the sheath (A). The automatic setting device is located on top of the cable guide bushing.
By turning the eccentric, turn the throttle until it stops, i.e. to maximum throttle and release back. In this case, the automatic transmission cable adjustment device is activated and the protrusion of the cable sheath is set.
Adjust the cable of the fuel supply system, to do this, remove the latch, press the accelerator pedal all the way, fully extend the cable sheath and install the latch in this position Install the air filter.
