Clutch cable

Withdrawal

In the engine compartment, disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch release lever. grasping the clutch cable with pliers and pulling it forward to disengage the cable from the release lever. Detach cable sheath from support bracket (see fig. 6.2, 6.3).





In the passenger compartment, disconnect the toothed sector tension spring from the pedal.

Remove the clutch cable from the gear sector of the pedal and remove it into the engine compartment (see fig. 6.4).



Remove the clutch cable through the hole in the bulkhead of the engine compartment.

Installation

Pass the clutch cable through the partition of the engine compartment and fix it on the gear sector. Reattach the gear quadrant brace spring.

Connect the clutch cable to the transmission by passing through the bracket and attaching it to the clutch release lever.
