Installing the water pump in the engine 1.1

Thoroughly clean the seating surface.

Install an elastic hose on the pump fitting.

Install the pump with new seals. Tighten the fixing bolts to the correct tightening torque.

Install the eyeliner and tighten its clamp.

Attach the belt pulley to the pump.

Put on the V-belt and tension it in such a way that a long section of it sags 8 mm under thumb pressure.

Fill the cooling system by gradually pouring liquid into the expansion tank.

Connect the battery to the car's electrical network.

Start and warm up the engine. Pay attention to the heating of the upper radiator hose. Check fan operation (it should turn on). If necessary, after the engine has cooled down, top up the coolant level in the expansion tank. The expansion tank must be filled with liquid up to the mark "MAX".
