Drain the coolant through the lower radiator connection into a container prepared in advance. If the coolant has been in operation for less than two years and is free from contamination, it can be reused.
Remove the V-belt.
Set the piston in the first cylinder to the TDC position (pic. 2.89).
Remove the toothed belt cover.
Engage fifth gear and tighten the handbrake.
Loosen the tensioner and remove the toothed belt (pic. 2.90).
Loosen the bottom connection of the pump.
Disconnect from the pump an elastic hose of system of heating of the car.
Remove the toothed belt tensioner.
Unscrew the fixing bolts and remove the pump.
