Removal and installation of the ignition coil

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Remove the multi-pin plug from the coil socket (pic. 2.150).



Remove the hooks of the high voltage plugs and remove them from the coil (pic. 2.151).



Unscrew the fixing screws (with cross sockets in heads) and take out the coil (pic. 2.152).



The coil is installed in the reverse order. Pay attention to the fact that the plugs of the electrical wires are correctly installed in the sockets.

If the coil has signs of burning, it must be replaced.
