Fuel filter replacement

The filter is shown in fig. 2.137, which also shows the place of its installation in the fuel system.



Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.

Install a pre-prepared container under the filter into which fuel will drain.

Loosen the fuel supply pipe, taking the necessary care, as there is an overpressure in the fuel system.

Disconnect both lines from the filter.

Unscrew the filter clamp bolt and remove the filter. Install the new filter and tighten the clamp clamp bolt. Install the filter, keeping the direction of fuel flow shown by the arrow on its body (pic. 2.138).



Connect the fuel lines.

Connect the battery and start the engine. Check the tightness of the system.
