Raise the front of the car and remove the front wheel.
Remove the brake cylinder housing spring (pic. 6.1).
Remove caliper guide rods (pic. 6.2).
Remove the caliper from the brake disc.
Remove the brake pads from their mounts.
The block, located on the side of the brake cylinder, is connected to it by a spring.
Before installation, check the technical condition of the brake disc. Scratched and corroded discs must be removed and, if possible, their working surfaces be machined. Grinding should be discs located on both sides of the vehicle axle.
Clean the rims of the brake pads. After this operation, the pads should move easily in the frames.
Using special forceps (pic. 6.3), press the piston into the brake cylinder. Check the fluid level in the reservoir on the brake master cylinder. If necessary, remove excess brake fluid from the reservoir.
Connect the brake shoe spring to the cylinder.
Insert the shoe with the outer frame into the caliper.
Install the caliper on the brake disc.
Screw in the guide rod and tighten it to the recommended torque.
Press the brake pedal hard several times to ensure that the pads are properly seated on the disc.
