Wheel installation

Knowing the data regarding the installation of wheels, as well as measuring real angles, is of practical importance. Comparison of these values makes it possible to evaluate installation errors. Measurement tool required (for example, manufactured by BOSCH). Therefore, the wheels should be installed in specialized workshops that have the appropriate tools.

The values of the angles of installation of the wheels are given in section 1.1.

During measurement, the following conditions must be met.

Tires must be in good condition, evenly worn and without damage.

Tire pressure must match factory requirements.

Wheel rims must be undamaged.

The clearances in the wheel bearings and in the joints must comply with the factory requirements.

The vehicle must be parked on a flat and level surface.

The fuel tank must be filled to half its capacity.

Wheel suspension must be factory-made.
