Gearbox disassembly

On fig. 3.11 shows the details of the gearbox.



With a special holder (pic. 3.12) fix the gearbox in the mounting rack.



Unscrew the gearbox mounting bracket in the chassis.

Drain the gearbox oil through one of the output shaft bearing holes.

Remove the clutch release shaft (pic. 3.13).



Unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox cover (fig.3.14) and remove the cover.




Unscrew the two cap nuts and remove the gear selector lock pins and springs.

Remove the selector pin (pic. 3.15).



Remove the circlip retaining ring (pic. 3.16) and remove the 5th gear driven gear along with the synchronizer parts. First remove the fifth gear forks.



Remove the 5th gear pinion circlip and remove the 5th gear using puller 16-035.


During installation, the expansion retaining rings must be replaced with new ones.

Unscrew the bolts and remove the fifth gear housing (pic. 3.17).



Remove the expansion rings securing the rolling bearings (pic. 3.18).



Remove the upper part of the gearbox housing. To do this, unscrew 14 bolts.

Take out the magnetic tab Be careful not to drop the tab as it may break.

Remove the lock rings of the selector guide and the forks that turn off the first and second gears (pic. 3.19). Remove the guide bush.



At the same time, remove both shafts from the gearbox housing together with the forks and the reverse driven gear.


Remove the shift blocking plate.

Remove the final drive gear with differential housing from the housing.

The roller bearing of a secondary shaft take out only in case of damage detection. In order to remove the bearing, it is necessary to damage the roller guide basket and remove it. partially selecting rollers from the basket.

Remove the oil deflector using pliers (oil ejector).

Using puller 16-021 and impact puller 15-035, remove the roller bearing race.

The bearing removed in this way is not suitable for further use and must be replaced with a new one.
Remove the input shaft seal.

Take out an epiploon of a secondary shaft.

Remove the differential bearing rings.
