Wing removal

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Raise the front of the vehicle and place it on stands. Brake the car with the parking brake and place blocks under the rear wheels. Remove the corresponding front wheel.

2. Remove the fender liner by unscrewing one screw to the bumper and five screws to the wheel arch.

3. Remove the front bumper.

4. Remove the side turn signal.

5. Remove the spacer clip from the front of the wing.

6. Turn out bolts of fastening of a wing to a spar and a forward rack.

7. Using a spatula or sharp knife, carefully separate the fender from the body. To facilitate this work, use a conventional hair dryer, since the protective mastic of the bottom of the body and the sealing mass between the wing and the body are compressed and, in fact, are a weld.

8. Carefully remove the fender.

9. Clean the mating surfaces of the wing from seal residues. Be careful not to damage the paintwork.
