Removing the trunk lid lock

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove an upholstery of a cover of a luggage carrier.

3. Remove the rod connecting the lock to the electric motor (pic. 17.16).

4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the lock.

5. Carefully remove the lock from the trunk lid (if installed, remove the trunk lid control switch).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
