Removing the rear view mirror

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. On vehicles with electrically adjustable mirrors, disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal and the connector from the A-pillar.

2. Remove an upholstery of a door.

3. Remove the decorative triangular trim from the top of the front door by pressing it away from the door with a wide flat screwdriver.

4. Remove the mirror adjustment switch from the door upholstery and disconnect the connector (pic. 17.3).

5. In the mirror area, separate the moisture-proof film from the door, unscrew it and secure with adhesive tape (do not touch the adhesive surface).

6. Disconnect the rear-view mirror connector and release the wiring harness from the clip (pic. 17.4).

7. Loosen the three mirror fixing screws, keeping the mirror from falling.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
