SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Clean the mating surfaces for the installation of the wing from seal residues and apply a layer of fresh seal to them. Later, there should be no places where water can linger. If the paintwork is damaged, repair the damage first.

2. Paint the new fender and apply rust protection to its inner surface.

3. Stick a regular body tape on the mating surfaces in the wheel arch and front pillar.

4. Install fender and adjust gaps between fender, door and hood.

5. Clean and lubricate the wing bolt threads.

6. Install and tighten all fender mounting bolts, starting in the middle and moving towards the hood and windshield. Each time you screw in a new bolt, pay attention to the gap between the fender, door and hood.

7. Press the protruding body tape into the gap.

8. From the inside, apply sealant to the mating surfaces.

9. Further installation of the wing is carried out in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, adjust the position of the hood.
