Removing the door lock cylinder

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Remove the door upholstery.

2. Remove the bottom directing of glass and disconnect draft from the cylinder of the lock of a door.

3. On models with an anti-theft alarm, disconnect the connector from the switch and remove the switch (pic. 16.30).

4. Carefully turn the lock cylinder retaining ring to a position that releases the lock cylinder retaining tabs. Remove the ring and washer from the door.

5. Remove the lock cylinder from the outside of the door.

6. Insert a new lock cylinder with a new gasket into the door.

7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
