Removing the switch from the instrument panel

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.

2. With a screwdriver blade installed under the clock flange, use a lever to remove the clock from the instrument panel, be sure to place a clean cloth under the screwdriver (pic. 16.9).

3. Disconnect the connector from the clock.

4. Through the hole opened after removing the clock, from the inside, push the faulty switch out of the instrument panel and disconnect the connector from it (pic. 16.10).

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
